poetry....

Many people ask what poetry is or what does poetry mean to me??
Well I’ll tell you what it means to me because it’s the one thing i’m good at and I know no one can tell me likewise…
poetry is my life, it’s the way for me to put my life on paper and know one to ask questions… no one to think twice…poetry is the way to express what the soul cant say. Poetry is a reflection of who you are. So many times I just wanted to stop. STOP writing all together because why write if it shows all your scrapes and wounds , if its shows all your sorrow and tears. If it shows all your pain and misery but writing to me is like an addiction….

Once I start I cant stop like the way some crack head puts a needle in there arm or like the way the last drink is never enough. Every time I put the pen down I feel the urge to pick it back up again.. And look here I go again…

Writing is my addiction… I write what I cant say I put in on paper because closing your eyes to things u don’t want to see doesn’t close your heart to the things you can’t choose to feel and that’s what writing is to me…..
