someone special

Someone special can be anyone, strait from the street
or right beneath my feet. You could be the man on the corner or
live next door…..It doesn’t matter anyone can be someone special. You mean a lot to me, you changed my life …

You showed me right from wrong,
You showed me who I am and where I stand
You showed me that I need to live in the present and that I can only remember the past and that I need to anticipate for the future

You’re my inspiration in life….. You showed me to be strong now because things will get better, because it may be stormy now but it cant rain

I thought I was writing a poem for you about how I feel and how much you have helped me but I guess I can’t… all I can say is I tried, I guess there’s so much I just cant put into rhythm….

I thank god everyday for putting you in my life, because I believe that everything happens for a reason , and I know there’s a damn good reason your in my life….

I thought I didn’t have the potential to be successful but I do …..

You showed me to dream what I want to dream , to be what I want to be , because I only have one life to live
And life is what you make of it…
You showed me that the brightest future is
Always based on the forgotten past and that you cant
go on well in life until you let go of your past failures and heartaches…….

I opened my eyes because ‘going through life is easy with your eyes closed but misunderstanding is all you’ll see…….’
